We’re college students and almost legal (i’m almost legal in less than a month, ain’t that cool) but that doesn’t excuse us from acting less than silly. Of course after a year into this crazy and wild friendship, we’ve been through our own drama (ohgad, it just keeps getting in the WAY!!!) but we’ve managed to get pass that and become better. Now, I don’t want to get all cheesy and mushy but i am so glad that at the end of the day I’ve got my two hyenas to back me up. In a sense, its comforting to know that I don’t have to explain anything to them- they just get it, even the constant mood swings and the irreplacable need to vent about something totally irrelevant every FIVE minutes. i LOVE them to death and of course, aside from family members, they are the ones who totally know everything about me and my aheem… non existent lovelife. wehehe. I love you girls and to more years of wonderful craziness.:)

I’m not sure if I got the lyrics right, but I guess I got pretty close. That song is SO TRUE. You see, I finally got over the “i’m-so-pangit-stage”. Seriously, when i was in gradeschool I was SO good at giving myself anti-feel good tactics. I was a champion at something like that.

BUT now, I’m quite the opposite, now I can find ways to “pep” myself up. And that’s because I realized something really important.

what makes one really beautiful is how they feel on the inside.

I know, I know it’s such a CLICHE. BUT its the TRUTH.

I feel so much better about myself when I’m nice to people instead of being arrogant towards them .I feel even better when the person that I was nice to wasn’t really nice back. Somehow, there’s that sense of satisfaction when you be nice instead of bitchy. THAT makes one beautiful.

NO matter how beauitful one is physically, it deteriorates if a person is arrogant and/or bossy and/or bitchy or… well you know the deal.

IT’S an amazing realization really. You could be dressed in rags and still be the most beautiful person in the room.

It’s because THE INNER ALWAYS OUTSHINES THE OUTER.

First week of classes just ended and I SURVIVED the crowded hallways and the large throng of people I have to get through EVERY SINGLE DAY for the past week just to get past the lobby. I finally got to meet up with my friends (who I missed like crazy!!) and guess what? It was as if we were only seperated for a weekend.

My subjects and schedule are really tough this term. I’ve got two math subjects, ecommerce, law and sociology. I’m loving law and sociology so far, I’m thinking of taking up criminal law after my business degree. That would be so law and order, cool huh?

The geek in me is loving all the work that has been given and will be given but i’m giving up on wednesday and sunday live basketball:-( I missed the game today. That’s okay though because KINGS WON!!!!!;-) happy happy joy joy:)

I’m in my ecommerce class and I’m supposed to be doing something else. BUT something really annoying is happening and I swear if I didn’t have enough self-control I would have kicked the people involved already!

There’s this guy who is going on and on about girls. Hot girls, sexy girls and his crushes. Not that its any of my business but please stop talking about girls as if they’re dog meat.

I SWEAR GUYS LIKE HIM GIVE GUYS A BAD NAME IN GENERAL.

Gin Kings lost last night 🙁 It’s okay though, I know thier tired and their last three games were AMAZING. And there are still like four games left so I’m hopeful:-) I’ve got faith that they could make it this time against those GIANT MEANIES.

EVERYONE DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE.
Even if that person was really bitchy before and couldn’t even remember your name, its better to give that person a second chance especially if she has changed already. It’s a humbling experience when you finally don’t feel anything negative towards someone you used to loathe. I don’t mean to be preachy here, but it feels great to finally let go of all the negative emotions and just be happy.

Being hopeful is one of the most serene feelings in the world. It makes one feel that maybe at the end of a grungy day/situation, something better will come.

It’s exhilirating.

If you’ve been reading my blog for quite sometime now I guess you’d realize that I’ve confirmed it a LONG TIME AGO that we’ve lived in conformed society for a longest time.

Maybe, I was mistaken.

You see, I know half of the world today has already been “westernized” but I guess I forgot all about the OTHER half. I just came from my sociology class and I’ve realized that inasmuch as the whole world has been getting into the latest technology, there are still some parts of the world, such as Ghana in Africa, which is to say, at the very least, technologically challenged.

In Ghana, owning a telephone is a LUXURY. Weird huh? And also some tribes in Africa still continue to practice weird traditions that can be traced back to olden days.

I mean, I know this but sometimes I forget that every single place is different. Sometimes we get so used to what’s around us, we forget that what may be normal to us may not be for other people. It’s kindda interesting…don’t you think?
